As you can see, I am still on Okaloosa Island enjoying the many moods/views of the sky and sea.  This gorgeous PINK (not re-touched) sky and sand was at sunset after some passing thunderstorms last evening.  Amazing isn't it?  Ain't God Great!?!

We will be leaving Okaloosa early tomorrow morning having finally completed all the "chores" necessary to have our little gem of a unit ready for occupancy by our first official renters.
We are really excited.  Everything looks so beautiful!

We decided to get out to the Bad Girls Art Gallery this afternoon to check it out.  Dr. Meow has some downright beautiful stuff in there.  They offer art classes in everything from watercolors to wool felting, lampworking and jewelry making.  They have some of the most beautiful glass jewelry you you will ever see!  You can buy theirs, or learn to make your own, all at quite reasonable prices.  What a gloriously fun place to visit.  Check it out if you get down here to Fort Walton Beach, or look them up on Facebook.

Then we decided to grab a bite of lunch at the  Mulhollows Bistro (215 on Miracle Strip Parkway).  Such a cute little place...right on a corner of the main drag before you cross the bridge to Okaloosa Island.  The decor is very, very cute and fun and comfortable. They have a huge selection of wine.  But, best of all the food is great!  I had a cup of corn chowder which was sweet, light and absolutely delicious.  Then I opted for an Asian Shrimp Salad.  There were lots of lightly fried, deliciously seasoned shrimp atop crispy garden greens; half slices of tomato were shaped into a rose garnish.  There were crispy carrot and celery sticks and cucumber slices as well as a sliced hard boiled egg.  All was served with a delightful and spicy oriental dressing that was so yummy I used more than I usually would.  There was a "hot" fresh roll served on the side which was light and cakey in texture and perfectly complimented the lovely salad.

My hubby got the Reuben and he was really pleased with his sandwich.  Plenty of delicious lean meat and cheese, the bread was lightly toasted and all was heated to perfection.  Beer was served in a well served in a well chilled glass.  We couldn't help but follow it up with a taste of dessert.  They actually gave us two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies as a complimentary dessert, and we ordered the home baked Key Lime Pie on the recommendation of the (really cute) waiter!  It was delicious!!!
Mulhollows Bistro at 215 Miracle Strip Parkway gets a Five Star Rating from us, and we will go back there soon!  Check it out next time you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Well, I need to sign off and get myself out into that glorious sun and enjoy my last few hours before my ride back into reality.  I will be back in a few weeks, so it does make it easier to leave this Paradise this time.  Wow, still can't believe it!  I own a condo facing the Emerald Coast...amazing.

God Bless - Peace, Love and Joy
