The Emerald Coast with its crystal clear water and Sugar sand has so much to offer!
I miss it when I am not there enjoying it.
I decided when I purchased my unit however that I would be renting it for others to enjoy when I was not there.
My only difficult has been that I hired the WRONG Management Company to oversee my property. I have had one problem after the other until this past week I finally decided to FIRE them. I only wish I had done it sooner.
It cost me quite a bit of money making this poor decision. It is not the first time I have owned rental property, but the first time I have owned rental property that needed to be managed on a week to week basis. It has been enlightening to say the least.
The condo is a two bedroom/two bath and is beautifully furnished. I absolutely love the view from my balcony. We are on the fourth floor Gulf Front, and can watch the dolphins play and the sea birds fly! It is glorious.
This has been a stressful week as I tried to negotiate with Southern Resorts to end my contract. I have been billed exorbitant amounts for repairs that were not even done. I have had issues with cleaning, misrepresentation, poor communication, and over charges and I am finally ready to end this relationship. They have not removed my Unit from their site yet in spite of my request last week for them to do so...so if anyone is interested, please contact VRBO 419785 and NOT SOUTHERN....they no longer have anything to do with my property.
I am heading back to Okaloosa on the 22nd of October to close out my relationship with Southern. I have other plans now, and the unit will still be available to rental and I will actually be able to lease it for a lesser amount since I will be able to set my own prices.
