Well, I am temporarily back in Macon, having left my beloved Gulf of Mexico and the Emerald Coast behind.  I will be going back in a couple of weeks, so it wasn't quite as hard to leave this time.  We had a great time watching the dolphins and trying new "haunts" we will want to visit when we return.  Mulhollows Bistro in Fort Walton Beach was an unexpected and delightful surprise as was Clemenza's Italian which was located in a strip mall off Eglin Parkway...fabulous Italian food (Uptown Station) and really great atmosphere.  Great place to celebrate our new condo.  Thanks Mary Ann. you are a Great Realtor and we will recommend you to anyone looking in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area!  Tightlines at Harbor Walk was a great place to sit and have a drink and look out over the Destin Harbor at all the boats coming and going.
Last night the dolphins had chosen to stay right
within the tight harbor area and put on quite a show for all to see.

We did some shopping and found out that "locals" which we are now, get a DISCOUNT at a lot of the stores! YAY!  I got 20% off on my purchases last night.  That was a nice surprise!

I can't say enough about what a wonderful place the Emerald Coast is to live or visit.  The people there are so much more relaxed and laid back...after all, they live in Paradise.  We are learning our way around and where and where not to go.  We take the children to the National Seashore on days when the water gulf side is too rough.  They love to catch hermit crabs there and there are definitely an abundance of them available.

Ghost crabbing at night is always fun, and bring lots of buckets and shovels for building those sand castles!

Well, back on the wagon tonight with homemade vegetable soup and yogurt on the menu.  Also made some fresh chicken salad using FAGE yogurt instead of mayo...don't say Yuk until you have tried it! I am now making tuna salad the same way and it is great!  High protein, low carb, low fat and tasty...how can you go wrong?  Tomorrow I intend to hit the pool and begin exercising again.  I had entirely too many goodies while I was out of town.

Well, that's all for tonight folks...gotta unpack before bedtime.

God Bless - Peace, Love and Joy
